Ferrari Westlake is proudly offering one of the most coveted and bewitching Ferraris, the 512 BBi.
When the Berlinetta Boxer first came out in 1976, it was described by then Ferrari F1 driver Carlos Reutemann, who tested it for Quattroruote Magazine, as a ‘car for the few’ due to its vigorous acceleration and exclusive price tag.
Road and Track Magazine considered it "The best all round sports and GT car we have ever tested".
The 512 BBi has a horizontally opposed, DOHC mid-mounted 12-cylinder engine, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, five-speed manual gearbox in rear-mounted transaxle, four-wheel independent suspension with wishbones, coil springs and anti-roll bars, twin coil springs rear, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes.
Performance of all Berlinetta Boxers, particularly the final 512 BBi, remains exceptional, with a top speed of 174 mph and a quarter-mile acceleration of just 13.85 seconds at 103.5 mph.
This 512 BBi stands out not only because of its clean and assertive shape, but also due to its Bianco Polo exterior paint, complimented by an all red interior featuring Connolly leather upholstery with contrasting white inserts.
Originally delivered in Germany on March 7th 1984, this Ferrari was exported to the US since no 512 versions were ever made for the US market. At a later point it was kept under ownership in Switzerland and the UK before finding its way back to the US where it is currently registered in California.
